Savoy $3M pre-seed · Sparrow 2024 CHW-led care wedge

The product isn’t assistance. It’s the work that disappears.

Community health workers already document visits, coordinate referrals, and manage handoffs — on shift, on mobile, often offline. AI built to “assist” them usually means one more surface to maintain.

Across two incubations the through-line was the same: design for the workflow that exists, then decide what AI is allowed to do inside it. On Sparrow / Lorena, field research redirected the product before significant build. On Savoy Life, operator discovery split one platform brief into three distinct value propositions. In both cases, the harder work was product — not model.

Two incubations. One discipline: burden before build.
