About

I’m a Principal Product Designer with 20+ years of experience designing and shipping complex digital products across healthcare, AI, enterprise, and government.

My work sits at the intersection of product strategy, systems thinking, and execution. I specialize in embedding early with product and engineering teams to clarify ambiguous problem spaces, de-risk major bets, and turn complex technical capabilities into clear, usable products.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across startups, incubation environments, and large organizations—helping teams move from early concepts to production-ready systems. I’ve led design efforts spanning user research, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, and front-end collaboration, with a consistent focus on real-world outcomes.

In recent years, my work has focused heavily on AI-first products—including voice interfaces, agent-based systems, and decision-support tools. I’m particularly interested in how intelligent systems can be designed responsibly: supporting users, revealing uncertainty, and augmenting human judgment rather than replacing it.

I believe strong product design:

  • Starts with direct access to real users
  • Treats design as a strategic function, not a service layer
  • Embraces constraints as inputs to better systems
  • Prioritizes clarity, trust, and usability over novelty

This site is a curated view into how I think about products, not just what I’ve shipped. Some work is intentionally high-level due to confidentiality, but the underlying approach—how problems are framed, explored, and resolved—remains consistent.
