I help teams figure out what’s worth building and get it into a form people can actually use.
I’m Christopher Mullins, a Principal Product Designer working across AI, healthcare, security, and other complex product areas.
Most of my work starts with talking to the people closest to the problem: users, domain experts, and engineers. From there, I work through the product with the team until there’s something concrete enough to test, challenge, and improve.

How I work
Research gives me the direction. Prototypes help me test it.
I start by figuring out what people actually need, where the uncertainty is, and which decisions would be expensive to get wrong.
From there I prototype at whatever level the question requires. Sometimes that is a workflow or an interaction model. Sometimes it means working React, APIs, AI models, or realistic data, so we can see how the product actually behaves.
The point is to learn early enough to change direction. What we find determines what gets built, what gets changed, and sometimes what isn’t worth building at all.
